Location
Hotel "Die Raeckse" is located in the centre of Haarlem and also within walking distance from the railway station. The hotel has a very good busconnection to/from Schiphol Airport (Busnr. 300 at "Verwulft" busstop). We recommend to take the bus since this is the easiest way to get to our hotel.
How to get there
By Bus (from Schiphol Airport):
- Take the bus marked Zuidtangent (Number 300). This bus leaves 6 times every hour. Travelling time is about 37 minutes. Busfares are sold at Schiphol Airport, but you can also buy them on the bus.
- The hotel is near the Verwulft busstop; ask the driver to indicate to you when to get off.
- Walk down the street and turn left (at the Postoffice) to find our hotel.
By Train (from Schiphol Airport):
- Take the train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Traintickets are sold at Schiphol Airport
and cost 5,10 € per person. Travellingtime is about 35 minutes.
- Once you have reached this station, change trains to Haarlem.
- The hotel is within walking distance from Haarlem trainstation.
- Once you get out of the station, go into the city centre of Haarlem by following the roads Kruisweg, Kruisstraat, Barteljorisstraat and then turn right into the Zijlstraat.
- Turn left and you will see the Post Office. Walk by the Post Office and turn right. At the end of this street (Raaks) you will see the hotel.
By Car:
- Take the A9 motorway to Amsterdam.
- Take the A205 motorway to Haarlem.
- Exit at Haarlem-Zuid.
- Drive along the road called Schipholweg and go over the bridge.
- Drive along the roads Buitenrustlaan, Kamperlaan, Paviljoenslaan, van Eedenstraat and Wilhelminastraat.
- You will see the hotel once you reach the end of the Wilhelminastraat (on the right of this street there is a parking platform). Finally turn right.
By Taxi:
- Please remind that travelling with bus or train is faster and a lot cheaper. Travelling with a taxi will cost 35 to 45 € and will take about 30 minutes.

Parking in the cityheart of Haarlem is free on Sundays. Please consider that the amount of parking places in the cityheart is limited.
Special parking facilities
If your stay consists of 2 or more days, we can offer you a special parkingcard that allows you to park near the hotel. This service stays free until the 15th of March 2010. After this date the parkingcard rate is 7,50 euro per day. Furthermore our hotel has a few reserved places for customers.
